Our PTA, meet regularly throughout the year. The main arm of the association is the ‘The Friends of Thomas Wolsey School’, registered charity (no 293635). The charity committee meet regularly and organise fundraising ventures throughout the year. The ‘Mother’s Day’, ‘Father’s Day’ and ‘Christmas’ shops have become an established feature of the school calendar and, as well as raising valuable funds for the school, provide the pupils will an excellent opportunity to practice their life skills.
Our PTA are always up for trying out new fundraising ventures whether quizzes, car boot sales or personalised Christmas cards. All have taken place over the last 12 months and are not only an important source of fundraising but bring our school community together in fun and enjoyable ways.
Our PTA is much more than a fundraising group however. It allows our families to connect with each other, providing friendship and support for one another. See our page on ‘Support for Families’ for more information about ways of connecting with other families.
