Avocets Nature Day

During their second visit to the Red House, the class enjoyed going on a mini beast hunt, finding all the creatures that thrive in the garden. During the walk, we stopped several times to sing some songs. We then created a lovely picture using special paper called ‘sun paper’ and some of the flowers we picked. After lunch, we explored the museum and saw various items related to the gardens. We finished our visit in the library, singing some more songs and listening to the harp being played.
