About Us

Thomas Wolsey Ormiston Academy (TWOA) is a school for children, aged 3-16 with physical, medical and / or sensory needs and associated learning difficulties. We are located in a purpose-built school, in the north west of Ipswich. We take pupils from across Suffolk.

We are a skilled and dedicated team of teachers and support staff who work closely, in holistic and collaborative ways, with on-site therapists, external agencies and, most importantly, with parents and carers, to provide a high quality learning experience for all our pupils.

Our child-centred approach means that we monitor and celebrate the well-being, development and educational achievements of our pupils through a personalised assessment system tailored to each pupil’s unique learning needs.

Achieving together through personalised learning where every second counts
