Ofsted

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It reports directly to Parliament and is both independent and impartial. By law it must inspect schools with the aim of providing information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools to account.

Ofsted’s role is to make sure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England do so to a high standard for children and students.

Details on how Ofsted inspects schools and academies can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/being-inspected-as-a-maintained-school-or-academy

In our last inspection we were rated as Good. The report can be downloaded from the link below.

Parental feedback is always inportant to us and we look for opportunities to engage with all stakeholders to gauge their views. One mechanism for parents to provide feedback to both the Academy and Ofsted is through the Parentview website. To find out more about Parentview please follow this link (Parentview)
