World Book Day!

6th March 25

Many children and staff entered into the spirit of World Book Day last Thursday.  Not only was there a fabulous range of costumes, some staff and pupils threw themselves into character – casting spells (heroines with magical powers) and pinching things (naughty robbers!)

There was lots of opportunity to share our favourite books with our peers and take part in a range of literacy-based activities such as treasure hunts and bookmark-making.

Although we would never pass up an opportunity to dress up and have fun at Thomas Wolsey, this year, World Book Day took on an extra significance as one of our whole-school priorities is fostering the love of reading.
