BBC Radio Suffolk
11th November 25
As part of our Careers programme some of our students were invited to visit BBC Radio Suffolk. They had the opportunity to learn about different roles withing the radio station and to ask questions related to careers. Our students were shown all the workplaces in the station – from the Live music room to the newsroom. They met with presenters and producers and discussed different topics, such as what challenges the producers have to overcome when creatin a radio show, what skills are needed to be a presenter, how they started their careers in the radio. Our pupils had the opportunity to engage in a practical learning and created their own recording which was broadcasted in school.
