Many of our parents and carers took advantage of the opportunity to find out more about the Play Sculptures Project today and attended 1 of 3 workshops offered to families by the artists Kara and Rachel.
Parents and carers were able to see how their children interreacted with the different elements of the Play Sculpture, find out what engaged the most and pick up ideas for sensory play at home.
The Play Sculpture prototype is in place for 2 weeks to enable all children and young people across school to have the opportunity to explore and discover what the artist and lower schools pupils have co-created.
We look forward to seeing these prototype installation, which will be in school after the half term for a further 2 weeks.
Bea is the second artist working on the project. The final installation will be returning to school in October… Watch this space…
